OUR STORY

Ahava River Designs creates elevated, nature-inspired greeting cards and educational gift books thoughtfully designed for specialty retail.

Founded by teacher and art therapist Christina DiMari, Ahava River began as a creative studio where art and nature meet to inspire reflection, creativity, and connection. The name Ahava means love, and River represents life — a reminder that both are meant to flow and be shared.

Today, the collection is carried in museums, resorts, bookstores, outdoor specialty, and boutique gift shops across the American West, with select partners nationwide, including:
REI · JAX Outdoor Gear · Trendz · National Museum of Wildlife Art
Boulder Bookstore · YMCA of the Rockies · Aramark · The Ritz-Carlton

Our nature photo cards feature the work of wildlife photographer Jake Davis, who has filmed wildlife stories worldwide for BBC, National Geographic, Disney, Netflix, and Apple. His award-winning imagery — featured in museums and specialty retail locations throughout the region — invites customers to reconnect with the wild.

Through Christina’s nonprofit outreach, Discovery Art for Youth, over two million young people have engaged with expressive art books designed to inspire hope, healing, and growth through nature, reflection, and creativity — reinforcing the brand’s long-standing commitment to meaningful, nature-centered design.
